Eterneva is an Austin-based company that innovatively employs technology to turn cremated ash of pets and loved ones into precious diamond souvenirs. The young futuristic thinkers Adelle Archer and Garrett Ozar established the fast-growing company. They sought to create unique jewelry that would give more meaning and honor to grieving families or individuals than the conventional way. Eterneva acquires carbon from the ashes and passes it under high degree heat and extreme pressure leading to the production of diamonds. This innovation illustrates the transformative power of technology in the modern world. Additionally, Adelle Archer and her associate have demonstrated the insatiable curiosity of the youth and the desire to adopt emerging technology to transform entrepreneurial ventures creating a global impact. After experiencing grief through the loss of a close friend, Adelle Archer says she hatched the idea of lab-grown diamonds as an expressive way to honor her. The idea gave rise to the Eterneva, with Archer seeding the startup to provide a reliable solution to the grieved. With Archer at the helm as CEO, the company has advanced its growth and now boasts 17 employees and multiple investors showing interest in the unique venture. Also, the company has relocated to a larger office inclusive of an in-house diamond lab based in South Austin.
Under the avid and voracious leader Adelle Archer, the company has seen a surge in investors vesting interests in the startup. Since its operationalization, the firm has received over three million dollars in venture funding, an excellent achievement for the company. Through the backing from the investors, plans are underway to construct and expand the production facility, which will enable the company to increase the production capacity to 75 diamonds annually, with each piece price ranging between $2,999 -$50,000. Archer emphasizes that the venture is proving pertinent with the rising death cases resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
